1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.
2. All contestants must be 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry and must be U.S. citizens.
3. Contestants may submit one (1) entry per household. Entries may be submitted anytime during the fourteen-week period of
the Contest. All submitted entries become the property of The New Yorker.
4. Contestants may enter the contest by completing the on-line registration form on NewYorkerReaderlink.com, The New Yorker's
promotion web site. To enter by mail, send your name, address, and phone number on a 3x5 card to "Mexico on My Mind
Sweepstakes", 4 Times Square, 21st floor, New York, NY, 10036. Entries that are lost, late, misdirected, garbled, or
incompletely received, for any reason, including by reason of hardware, software, browser or network failure, malfunction,
congestion, or incompatibility at sponsor or elsewhere, will not be eligible.
5. A grand prize winner will be selected at random from entries received between October 7, 2002 and January 14, 2003. All
decisions of the judges are final. One Prize will be awarded. The prize winner will receive a written notification on or
around January 21, 2002. Prize is a trip for two to Mexico, including five nights/six days accommodations at the Royal
Hideaway Resort and coach round trip air transportation on Mexican Airlines from the major airport nearest winner’s home in the
U.S. All other expenses are the winner’s responsibility. The trip must be completed by December 31, 2003. Scheduling is subject
to availability and black out dates. Income and other taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner.
6. Subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void outside of the U.S., in Puerto Rico, and where prohibited.
7. The odds of winning depend on the number of entries received. Prize is not transferable. No substitutions for prize except by
"Sponsor" in case of unavailability in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be substituted.
8. Employees and their families of The Condé Nast Publications and its affiliated companies are not eligible to enter.
9. Acceptance of prize constitutes consent to use winner’s name and likeness for editorial, advertising and publicity purposes.
The winner will be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility, to execute a notification and availability form, and agree to be
bound by the official rules of the contest; winner and travel companion will be required to execute a liability and publicity
release. These documents must be returned thirty days (30) from the date of notification of winning or an alternate winner may be
chosen.
10. For name of winner send a self-addresses stamped envelope to The New Yorker Merchandising Department, 4 Times Square, 21st
Floor, New York, NY 10036 after January 21, 2002.
